Representation of the OFII in Tunisia: Language, a Key to Integration for Employment in France
Learning the Language, a Lever for Success in the Host Country
Mastering the language is a key element for integrating into a new professional environment. In France, speaking French not only involves understanding instructions and performing tasks, but also assimilating corporate culture and participating in social and professional life.
For Tunisians wishing to work in France, improving their level of French can offer additional professional opportunities.
The THAMM OFII Project: Tailored Solutions to Enhance Employability
As part of its professional mobility initiative, the THAMM project, funded by the European Union, has enabled the Representation of OFII in Tunisia to organize specific language training. These programs aim to reduce linguistic barriers that hinder access to employment opportunities for candidates with strong technical skills.
Tailored Language Training for Various Sectors
Several partnerships have been established to offer solutions adapted to the specific needs of candidates:
- Institut français de Tunisie (IFT): language training for job seekers registered with the National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (ANETI), specializing in the aeronautics and medical-social sectors;
- Academy of Training for Leaders in Leadership and Management: a program designed for young graduates, with an orientation towards hospitality and client relations;
- Benka Company: language courses dedicated to young graduates interested in opportunities in contact centers and customer service;
- Agency for Agricultural Extension and Training (AVFA): language support for seasonal workers to facilitate their integration into the agricultural sector in France.
Language is a passport to employment and a vector of sustainable integration. Thanks to the joint efforts of the OFII and its partners, many Tunisians see their professional ambitions become a reality.
