OFII, a key player for the reception of displaced Ukrainians in France – EURONEWS report on the “single-desk” in Lyon

The French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII) and its Territorial Directorates are fully dedicated to facilitating the reception of displaced Ukrainians in France.

As part of a report on the Single reception centre for administrative procedures for displaced Ukrainians opened in Lyon, the international media Euronews focused on the pivotal role of OFII and on the commitment of OFII Territorial Directorate in Lyon.

Sami Boubakeur, the Director of OFII Territorial Directorate in Lyon, interviewed by the Euronews teams, had therefore the opportunity to express the daily commitment of OFII services and agents to carry out the different missions inherent to the reception of displaced Ukrainians on site.

“Things are going really well”, underlines Sami Boubakeur, the Territorial Director of the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII). His organisation is one of the key players in the Reception centre. “All services have learnt to collaborate well together, he insisted. There is consistency and fluidity! “  

This statement exemplifies the great synergy between State services to successfully receive the displaced Ukrainians in France.
