Integration week: Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s) in Nice
On Thursday 14 October, a ceremony was held to award training certificates to trainees of Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s), signatories of the Republican Integration Contract (CIR), in presence of Phillipe Carrion, Managing Director and co-founder, with the chef Thierry Marx, of Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s).
This initiative, organised during the integration week, in the presence of numerous partners (OFII, DDETS, Pôle Emploi, Reflets, GRDF, among others) shows the strong involvement and the complementarity of the actions to promote the integration of newcomers and international protection beneficiaries.
The signatories of the CIR (two beneficiaries of the international protection and two spouses of French nationals) warmly thanked all of the partners for this strong support they received throughout their process (issuing of residence permits, support for accessing their rights, access to housing, monitoring of language training and assistance with professional integration).
With the professional skills acquired during their intensive eleven-week training, they are awaiting the results of the examination taken to obtain the professional title.
Two signatories are currently doing extra works and all have started their job search. During the ceremony, the Pôle Emploi representative presented a list of 210 restaurant owners located within a 10 km radius, looking for cooking skills.
There is no doubt that these trainees, remarkably and intensively trained by Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s), will find opportunities in a sector that is in tension, to develop their skills recognised by the professional branch in the catering sector.
